About ISHU
The International Specialised Hospital of Uganda (ISHU) is being developed in Lubowa to give patients in Uganda and the region access to advanced specialised care closer to home.
By bringing together specialist expertise, modern medical technology and compassionate care, ISHU aims to reduce the need to travel abroad for complex treatment.
Designed around patients
Patient safety, dignity and coordinated care are central to ISHU’s preparations. We are developing our clinical facilities, training healthcare teams and establishing the systems needed to provide safe, respectful and reliable care.
